The challenge this week is not to solve your suffering. It is to bring it honestly to Jesus. Think
about the area of your life that currently feels most difficult. Instead of focusing on how to
escape it, ask:
What would faithfulness look like in this situation this week?
Perhaps faithfulness means continuing to pray. Perhaps it means forgiving someone. Perhaps it
means trusting God with unanswered questions. Perhaps it means reaching out to someone
and asking for prayer.
Choose one step of faithful obedience and share it with the group if you feel comfortable.
Jesus,
Thank You for seeing us completely. Thank You that our pain is never hidden from You
and that our struggles never surprise You. When life feels heavy, remind us that You are
near. When we are discouraged, strengthen our faith. When we are tempted to quit,
help us remain faithful. Teach us to trust You not only for the outcomes we desire but
because You are worthy of our trust. Give us courage to walk through the fire with
confidence that You walk beside us. And help us fix our eyes on the eternal life You have
promised.
Amen.
Key Truth | Jesus does not always remove the fire, but He is always faithful to walk with us
through it.
