Conflict Resolution

About

Conflict is an unavoidable part of marriage, but Scripture teaches that it can become a catalyst for growth rather than division. This session helps couples understand the deeper heart issues that often drive disagreements and encourages them to move beyond surface-level arguments toward genuine reconciliation. Drawing from James 1, Matthew 18, Romans 12, and other biblical passages, participants learn practical habits such as listening before responding, accepting personal responsibility, addressing issues promptly, focusing on one concern at a time, and seeking understanding instead of victory. Rather than avoiding conflict or attempting to win arguments, couples are challenged to pursue peace that honors God and strengthens their covenant relationship. Through biblical instruction, discussion, and practical exercises, participants develop habits that foster trust, reconciliation, and emotional safety during seasons of disagreement.
