AboutThis session explores God's design for healthy communication within marriage by emphasizing the biblical balance of truth and love. Couples examine common causes of communication breakdown, including misunderstanding, unexpressed needs, poor timing, and unhealthy patterns that gradually erode connection. Drawing from Ephesians 4:15 and other key passages, participants learn that healthy communication requires both honest conversation and gracious delivery. Practical instruction focuses on intentional listening, using "I" statements, choosing appropriate timing, affirming one another regularly, praying before difficult conversations, and maintaining connection even during disagreement. Through discussion and practical application, couples are encouraged to establish communication habits that strengthen intimacy, foster mutual understanding, and reflect Christ's love within their marriage.
