KidMin

Helping kids know Jesus, build a faith of their own, and reframe everyday life in His image through relationships with adults who faithfully show up.

Why This Matters

Growing in This Area of Life

KidMin partners with families to help children know Jesus, discover who they are because of Him, build meaningful relationships, and develop a faith that shapes everyday life.

Childhood is a formative season when identity, relationships, habits, and ways of seeing the world are taking shape. We want to help kids build a faith that grows with them—learning to know Jesus, seek wisdom from God’s Word, trust Him through difficult things, and recognize that they have a part to play in His mission right now.

Helping Kids Reframe Life

KidMin is part of First Castroville’s mission of leading generations to reframe life in the image of Christ. We want kids to know Jesus, discover who they are because of Him, and build a faith that shapes how they see and live everyday life.

We do that by creating environments where kids are known, loved, challenged, and surrounded by adults who faithfully show up. Through God’s Word, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to practice their faith, we’re helping kids grow into lifelong followers of Jesus.

As you serve, remember:

People before programs. See the child in front of you.
Faithfulness over perfection. Keep showing up and trust God to work.
Every moment can point to Jesus. Look for opportunities to help kids see life through Him.

You aren’t simply filling a role. You’re helping form the next generation.

Reframing Perspective

Kids aren't waiting to become disciples someday—they can follow Jesus today. We create space for them to know and be known, ask honest questions, practice their faith, use their gifts, serve others, and discover what following Jesus looks like in everyday life.
